Group Facilitation
Wendy Brewer has more than ten years’ experience as a therapist, meditation teacher and group facilitator. Her vision is for a world where everyone feels loved, accepted and empowered. Her passion is to assist people who are struggling to find ways of moving forward. She is inspired by a strong belief in the possibility of change.
Wendy specialises in recorded meditation stories for children, relationship break up recovery, trauma processing, anxiety support and confidence building. She utilises a variety of therapeutic approaches including Resource Therapy, Meditation instruction and recordings, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Motivational Interviewing and Counselling.
Wendy has studied education, psychology, sociology and group facilitation at a tertiary level. She has a vocational diploma of Meditation Teaching and an advanced diploma as meditation teacher trainer.
Since 2008 Wendy has completed more than 300 hours of training with Professor Gordon Emmerson, the founder of Resource Therapy. She is now an Advanced Clinical Resource Therapist and Resource Therapy Trainer. She is a peer mentor to other therapists.
In addition to her private client work, Wendy works for Family Drug Support as a volunteer co-ordinator/supervisor and facilitates a support group for people with loved ones who are dependent on alcohol and other drugs.
Wendy is passionate about her life-long mission; working with others to help them find inner peace and confidence, through one on one therapy and group work. Wendy enjoys writing and public speaking – she is available to talk to your group on a variety of topics.
